Do i have to pay duty and import charges?

Any international orders shipping to destinations outside the EU may incur additional taxes, fees and duties, as required by the country of destination.

Customs duties, taxes, and other import fees are not included in our prices or shipping costs. These charges, if applied at delivery, are the customer’s responsibility.

Where do you ship from?

All orders ship from Sweden—meaning shorter delivery times than from Svalbard.

when will i receive my order?

All orders are trackable. After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. This way you will be able to know where your order is and when will it arrive.

Where are SVALR products made?

All our products are formulated, designed and produced locally in Longyearbyen.

How long do svalr products last?

The date stamped on the product is the expiration date. We encourage you to start using the product right away to take advantage of the fresh and potent ingredients. Our products are always produced in small and frequent batches to make sure your routine stays as fresh as possible.

How should I store my SVALR products?

Be sure to store your skin care in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. They will benefit from being in the fridge, but it is not a must.

Sustainability & Packaging

IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?

Almost all of our packaging is recyclable with the exception of certain components in our mixed material closures (droppers & pumps). Our boxes, glass & aluminium bottles are 100% recyclable. We are constantly searching for innovative and eco-friendly packaging solutions and are committed to reducing our footprint to the best of our ability.

What does natural skincare mean?

“Natural” isn’t defined by law. At svalr, it is: we keep it plant-first, with rare exceptions such as 10% vitamin C to support the formula.

why do the serums come without a box?

We reduced packaging to keep your price down and our footprint light. Your serum arrives unboxed, but the formula (and results) are unchanged.

I have received a defective or faulty item. What should I do?

We are so sorry to hear something is wrong with your order. Please contact us at hello@svalr.no and include the following information:

  • Details of the issue 
  • Images that support the issue

Can i return an item?

You can return an item up to 30 days after your purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Please kindly note that shipping costs are at your charge. Check our Shipping & Returns page for more information.
